Ubuntu Desktop hangs more seldom

  • May 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Desktop allows easily install (and uninstall) software: You just open software center and choose which software is to be installed, one by one. The software can be even installed containerized what means that it cannot harm your files even if malicious or bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until recently the Gnome graphical interface hanged regularly. How the last long term support version 22.x seems to have solved this problem.

Nevertheless, sometimes I need to open and close my laptop to drive out ubuntu from suspend mode.

It also still has inconvenient switching between windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Ubuntu Desktop for all my daily task: scientific research, browsing and reading email, building Web sites, writing documents, downloading and sorting files, etc,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get rid of Windows, install Ubuntu Desktop.
