Nothing at all, but some rare software isn't working. Some of the software (like Adobe) is not working which is the only drawback of Ubuntu. But overall, we can use alternatives.

It's fairly intuitive coming over from other OS GUIs (OSX, Windows) and doesn't require a lot of time to get accustomed to while still benefiting from being on Linux for its use in coding/development.

In my experience, there's been a lot of improvement over time, but it can be prone to slowdowns and occasional crashes. Some small but expected things, like browser dark mode don't have full support.

Ubuntu Desktop Reviews
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a very stable Linux distribution and it stands out for its user-friendliness; it is secure and has a wide range of software available. It is totally free, straightforward to install, and it's very customizable and very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a new user, Ubuntu can be complicated to get familiar with installing soft-wares and using command line. If you are coming from Windows, most apps are unavailable; of course, there are alternatives, but I wish I could use the same apps I use on Windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu Desktop being a free OS, makes it an attractive option for individuals and organizations looking to cut costs and it is compatible with a wide range of hardware and software. These benefits have a significant impact on users, including reduced costs, increased productivity, improved security, and a better overall user experience.
Easier to manage
What do you like best about the product?
Most of installations run on a single line or few lines in the terminal. And because it's not hard to find typical commands to run things, I can just search then copy paste the commands that I want right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite I love running commands on terminals, I also prefer to do certain stuff using GUI. But some applications are not available or have limited features in Ubuntu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it primarily for work to process the data that I have using multiple programs through the command lines on the terminal.
Great alternative to Windows, with some learning curves
What do you like best about the product?
It is a free and open-source operating system that is stable and works on many different architectures. It has free versions of different applications, such as LibreOffice and many other common programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some adjustment and learning to use the terminal for many things. Installing programs and updates generally are all done through the terminal, so it will be a different experience compared to other operating systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is fantastic to have a free operating system that does not have issues if the day-to-day tasks are browsing the internet and creating documents. As long as you can adjust and convert file types to the ones most commonly used, there will be no problems using Ubuntu for work.

There may be compatibility issues with certain hardware or software due to the open-source nature of Ubuntu and its lack of proprietary drivers.
