Satisfied Cloudinary User Since 2013
What do you like best about the product?
I wanted a CDN that I could control by manually adding URLs in the places I wanted to add URLs, and I discovered Cloudinary way back in 2013, and I've been using it ever since. The ease of implementing links has always been the best feature of Cloudinary for me. I actually use Cloudinary daily on several of my WordPress sites.
When I say "ease of implementation," I mean upload image, click overlay on uploaded image to get shareable link and add shareable link to the post or page or share it directly with someone or on social media. I like that I can create folders within folders to keep my media organized and easy to find. I have a lot of media. Whew!
Even though it has a lot of bells and whistles, I mainly use the Asset Management and Access Control.
I find the console well-organized with a dashboard that is easy to navigate, and I like that I can easily convert my images to WebP from JPG, PNG or SVG. Although I only upload videos in MP4 format, Cloudinary can handle other formats, too, like WebM and HLS.
Cloudinaryeasily integrates well with the REST API and Node.js, React, Vue.js, Angular, PHP, Python and Ruby.
Customer support is stellar. Any time I've ever contacted customer support, I get help within hours instead of having to wait days and days to hear back from someone. I always feel a little guilty when asking them for help, because my account is so old that I'm still only paying $10 a month for it!

What do you dislike about the product?
In my 12 years of use, I can't think of anything I dislike about Cloudinary. Everything I want it to do, it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudinary allows me to manually control my media. I don't always want every, single image or video on one of my WordPress sites to be managed by a CDN. Cloudinary gives me the flexibility to manage my media myself, and I value the ability to do that.
Asset management dream
What do you like best about the product?
The tools provided for managing a large number of assets, and the documentation and support team to help you achieve it. I can't stress enough how great their support team have been every time I needed to reach out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many things to outright dislike. Their tech moves fast, and sometimes the documentation falls a little behind or is too voluminous to easily work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass asset storage. A near 7-figure asset catalogue and all the tools available to upload, download, and backup files has made it easy. Integrating API's in our PIM, or Mass folder uploads via CLI or the Python package is a breeze
Very convient and reliable tool
