Easiest Way to Transfer Old data to QBO or QBD

  • July 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are accountants by trade, and this software has made our job easier. When we have a client that is behind on their books, we simply convert their old bank and credit card statement transactions using DocuClipper and import the transactions in the web connect format to QBD. It is so easy and we save so much time. We love this software!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see it is a downside, but there are so many good features to discover on this software, but we have not had the time to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conversion of Old Bank Statements and Credit Card Transactions that the bank or credit card can no longer provide due to their limitations on number of months in their database.

What do you like best about the product?
I tried free AI programs to convert PDF's. There were so many errors I could not trust the conversion, I used Docuclipper and had NO errors. Amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
A QuickStart would be helpful. Maybe it is there, but I missed it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It converted historical PDF bankstatments into CSV's for analysing in Power Query

What do you like best about the product?
I had a client that handed me over 2,000 pages of bank statements that needed to be caught up and reconciled. DocuClipper helped me get this project done in hours - not weeks. I uploaded the scanned images. DocuClipper read them and created an QBO download file which was easily imported into Quickbooks Online.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish DocuClipper would allow me to upload an enitre year at one time, rather than month to month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It converted paper statments into Quickbooks import files. It saved me thousands of hours.

What do you like best about the product?
I used DocuClipper for a new client that required I go back and reconcile the last 5 years of bank statements. Unfortunately the bank wouldn't allow csv downloads that far back. I used DocuClipper for this project and was able to upload into the accounting software to perform a monthly reconciliation. It saved me countless hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real issues. It takes a little time to get a feel for the software but not too hard after a little experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed me to convert pdf bank statements to csv for easier reconciliations. Extremely accurate.

Easy to use and very helpful

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to covert my bank statement to a csv file quickly and easily. I did make an error in the subscription but customer support was very helpful and resolved my issue with in 2 business days. I was able to figure out how to use the product easily!
What do you dislike about the product?
There was only 1 draw back of the conversion. I had some data issues, however, this was easily seen when comparing the statement with the csv files. The address was converted and that was easily removed when I scrubbed the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I only had pdf copies of my bank statements from a few years ago. I needed csv or quicken files to upload for my records. DocuClipper converted the pdfs easily and relatively cleanly.

Easy and Fast Results!

What do you like best about the product?
All I had to do was drag and drop a folder with 12 months of PDF bank statements into the platform. And 30 seconds later I had all the transactions on 1 CSV file!
What do you dislike about the product?
They only have a subscription. It would be great to have "per job" rate for people who only need a one time use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No issues...worked exactly as advertised! It saved me from manually importing all my transactions into a CSV file. All my quickbooks transactions were lost and needed to get a file for my accountant to do my taxes.

What do you like best about the product?
I can't recommend Doculipper highly enough. I had five years’ worth of taxes that needed to be amended, and I was struggling to find software that could handle the job efficiently—until I found Doculipper.

What makes this tool stand out is its ability to seamlessly convert bank statements into clean, well-formatted Excel files. No weird formatting issues, no endless copy-pasting, and no wasted hours trying to make the data usable. You simply upload your statements, and it handles the rest.

The platform also lets you easily categorize transactions and even set custom rules, which is a huge help for organizing complex financial data. But for me, the most valuable feature is its export-to-Excel functionality—it’s accurate, clean, and saves me literally hundreds of hours I would have spent doing it manually.

If you're a business owner, accountant, or just someone trying to clean up their financial records, Doculipper is a must-have tool. It made an overwhelming process simple, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with large volumes of financial data
What do you dislike about the product?
When I upload a navy federal statement, I couldn't see the whole description and after each category I had to resize the fields again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to convert statements to excel

Time Saver!

  • January 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how much time it saved me. Having the ability to export client statments into one useable document (excel or CVS) saved me hours and hours of time. And the system is fairly easy to use when you get used to it. Customer support as pretty good - the bot option was ok, but you could always email support directly and they get back to you within a reasonable time frame.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system sometimes glitches when uploading many statments at one time for conversion and this caused a bit of headache when having to verify the data. But once I learned to just upload a few statements at a time it got better. Hopefully this is a glitch that DocuClipper is working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving me time in having to convert multiple client statements to a workable excel or CVS file! Saves me hours and hours of time - thank you!
