Using Swiftype does not require any high-level knowledge in set up programming, thanks to this novice users will be able to get acquainted with the software without any problems and take advantage of its useful functions. Data indexing is extraordinary in addition of being one of the fastest I've tried in a long time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a problem regarding the number of pages indexed for the plan we chose, due to the heavy load of documents that the crawler indexed the number of pages exceeded the quota of our plan, I do not know as a step this as we made sure to choose a plan that would fit the number of documents that we were going to use, we contacted the support and it turned out to be a configuration problem in their back end, once this was all done everything go smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously our department was running behind in getting a proper configuration that was stable without false positives but no matter what we were doing we could not find a proper solution, with this software we were able to configure the crawler in the specific way that we wanted, lowering to the maximum the number of false positives that might arise and until now we have not had such problems again.

When searching for a SaaS search engines it is necessary to evaluate a series of parameters that will make you choose the best option with a completely objective approach, among these parameters are Results, Set up, Analytics, Pricing, Support. It's easy to use, I am switching my application backend API call side to ElastSearch.

I am recommending to use Elasticsearch and move your application backend side (I mean the part where frontend call to backend retrieve a data) to Elasticsearch
Feels like Alpha
We were very pleased discovering the option to procure ES Cloud through AWS Amrketplace. However, we quickly found very basic features missing:
- It is not possible to have more than one management account for ES Cloud. Meaning only one user can create and manage deployments (clusters)
- It is not possible to restrict IP ranges for access to ES endpoints
- A private VPC Link apparently requires manual steps on ES side and was not available for us.
Of Course Elasticsearch works and configuration is relatively easy. Due to the issues mentioned, I can't recommend this service for anything close to production.
