What do you like best about the product?
The MPP engine enable processing large volume of data. The temporal feature is also a interesting resource because is very easy to store and query historical version of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workload manager is very flexible to setup but itshould be more efficient in workload management in practice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An appproach wich centralize several data sources and create a Data warehouse model at the same data plataform. Since the data is on the same platform, combined with a high processing power, it's more easy to perform data & analytics studies delivering insights for organization faster.
A data fabric if you are used to Teradata environment
What do you like best about the product?
A flexible platform that integrates different file systems, OS, and data types to work and leverage them across data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Necessary all the connectors, and sometimes that requires another license

A great solution if you work with Teradata in your work environment.

The best part about Teradata Vantage is the pay as you go policy. It's a great thing for our department's budget.

It makes my computer slow, so it's hard to complete other work.

Analytics are crucial for every business. Teradata Vantage has allowed us to store data that gives us amazing data and analytics that employees here use daily to further their personal and business goals.

What do you like best about the product?
Teradata helps the company to integrate my cloud-based application data into one area where the data can be used to build datalake, data warehouse. The analytics utility within the application help to get insights from the lake/warehouse data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering the data being fetched from the various data sources, the data lineage functionality of the application could have been better. As the data engineer, the data lineage makes the lspife easy to narrow down data issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than going for a separate tool to bring in the data in one place, Teradata vantage helps the organisation to give the e2e data analytical solution by bringing in data from various sources !
Amazing for Analyzing Data & Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Teradata Aster is amazing for multi-genre analytics solutions that are used by many different companies. The seamless and smooth ability to use different techniques to tackle difficult problems. Its SQL integration is good and precisely provides what I need to finish my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with Teradata Aster is that the program is difficult to set up initially. When my company first used the program, there were limitations and rules we had to set for the integration. Afterwards, Teradata was very smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teradata Aster is helping my team by integration. The program allows us to take in a large amount of data, then allows us to analyze it through the program. The integration process allows us to work on big projects that includes a lot of data.

the connection with the SQL server is sometimes hectic.

What do you like best about the product?
Workload Management is an important aspect of life. Work is a necessity for a person but comprising health and other major aspects of life for work is not called for.
What do you dislike about the product?
We just should not take ourselves lightly and not push to strive better just for the namesake of workload Management. No other bad aspect about this.

SQL - GR is great tool for getting the query faster with big data sets.

User interface, debugging suggestions. And the speed it provides while working with big databases using graph tech.

Community support is available less. Can't find required code easily.
