You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run this software on. Billing scales with the compute capacity you select, not with a fixed plan. The many options are Amazon EC2 instance types across several families, including general-purpose M-series (M6, M7, M8) variants and burstable T3 sizes. Smaller sizes like nano, micro, medium, and large cost less per hour, while larger sizes such as the metal and high-xlarge options cost more. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and your hourly rate follows that choice. The listing supports up to 10 users.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one instance-hour cover, and am I charged when the instance is stopped?
You pay for each hour the EC2 instance runs the software. A stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage or reserved resources may still bill separately through AWS. The software rate meters running time on the instance size you selected.
What drives my cost — the instance size, the number of users, or the workload?
The instance size you run drives the hourly software rate. Larger instance types cost more per hour than smaller ones. The listing is fixed at up to 10 users, so user count does not change the rate. Your bill scales with the compute capacity you choose.
How do I move to a larger instance if my workload grows?
You launch the software on a different EC2 instance type that fits your needs. Your hourly rate then follows that new instance size. Switching is a manual choice, not automatic. The 10-user limit stays the same regardless of which instance size you run it on.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
