Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
You will need to have an empty MSSQL database available and login credentials for the DB Owner to setup the ARC Database and Schemas. This can be done via AWS RDS: https://aws.amazon.com/rds/sqlserver/Â
You will need the following information
SQL Server location: example {database}.{region}.rds.amazonaws.com Database Name: example ARC_Testing_DB Database DbOwner username: example ARCOwner Database DbOwner password
With that information available
First Time Launch:
1: Launch EC2 of AMI 2: Navigate to the IP address of the EC2 Instance via http in your preferred internet browser (i.e. Chrome, Firefox) 3: You should see a page that says "You must run the installer /app/Installer/ARCInstaller to use the service" you can leave this page open 4: ssh into the EC2 Instance and run "sudo /app/Installer/ARCInstaller" 5: this installer will walk you through the steps to install the database. You will need the information from earlier along with your email address for the ARC Admin. 6: once the installer is done you should be able to go back to the website page you were visiting and within 30 seconds you should see a login prompt, if not refresh the page. 7: Login, if your installation was successful you should now be logged into ARC Enterprise
