- SSH into VM using ubuntu as the username
- Invoke the selfhostedemailserver binary with the command "selfhostedemailserver"
- This should install postfix and bsd-mailx
- This is already sufficient to test the deliverability of the email. How's how to test deliverability 4a. visit mail-tester.com 4b. mail-tester.com will generate a random email address. This random email is just for you. mail-tester.com is expecting you to send a test email to that email. It will report on the deliverability of that email you sent. 4c. Use mailx to send a test email. Here's an example of mailx: echo "hello world" | mailx -r root@bughousechessonline.com -s "hello world" hello@programmerhat.com
