Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Janis is a composable platform for omnichannel order management, billed under a contract. Pricing splits into two dimensions that work together. The Monthly Subscription covers your recurring access to the platform. Gross merchandise volume charges are based on the total value of goods sold through the platform, so this portion scales with your transaction volume. Together, these dimensions combine a fixed subscription cost with a usage-based component tied to how much commerce you run through Janis.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Gross merchandise volume charge measure?
This charge tracks the total value of goods sold through the platform. As you process more orders and higher-value transactions, this portion of your bill grows. It scales directly with your commerce activity, unlike the fixed subscription cost.
How do the Monthly Subscription and Gross merchandise volume charges combine on my bill?
Both charges apply together. The Monthly Subscription is a recurring fixed fee for platform access. The Gross merchandise volume charge is added on top and varies with the value of goods you sell. For high-volume operations, the volume charge typically drives most of the cost.
Does my cost change if my sales volume rises or falls?
Yes, in part. The Gross merchandise volume portion moves with the total value of goods sold, so higher sales raise that charge and lower sales reduce it. The Monthly Subscription stays fixed regardless of how much commerce you run.
