You pay by the hour for the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS image running on the EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one specific AWS instance type, so pricing scales with the compute size and family you pick. Smaller shared instances like t3 and m5 sit at the low end, while larger memory, compute, storage, GPU, and bare-metal instances cost more per hour. You are not locked into a tier; you select an instance and pay only for the hours it runs. Vendor support and regular patching are included with the image.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for a given instance type?
One unit is one hour that a single instance runs the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS image. Each dimension maps to one specific EC2 instance type. You are billed per running hour for each instance you launch, so two instances of the same type bill two hours per clock hour.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running hours only. A stopped instance does not accrue the hourly image charge. You may still see underlying AWS charges for attached storage or reserved capacity, but those are separate from this listing's per-hour software price.
What support and updates come with the hourly price?
The hourly price includes the vendor's image with regular patching and updates. Cloudfu provides 24/7 technical support by email. These are bundled into every instance type, so the support and maintenance do not change based on which instance you select.
