Lucidity has created an enterprise-ready, most comprehensive, multi-cloud Autoscaler that allows you to expand and shrink your live EBS volumes automatically, based on the workload. Shrinking a volume without downtime especially has not been possible so far. Lucidity makes all of it possible with no impact on performance. Lucidity is on a mission to help solve the problem of cloud storage management for enterprises. Cloud storage often constitutes 20-30% of the overall cloud costs, yet they are often ignored. But today, where data rules supreme, the management of cloud storage has never been more critical. The traditional approaches demand a tedious effort in maintaining the balance between over provisioning and under provisioning, with pitfalls of downtime and performance bottlenecks. But now, with the latest Block Storage Autoscaler, you can say goodbye to these woes and embrace a dynamic, responsive, and automated cloud storage solution. With the ease of deployment in 3 clicks, the autoscaler can immediately reduce your storage costs by 50% and eliminates risks of downtime.
We are offering following three pricing tiers :
Lucidity Hosted: This tier offers essential support for deployment, ensuring a smooth and cost-effective setup for your Lucidity Auto-scaler on AWS.
PrivateLink: Opt for our PrivateLink tier if you require deployment with enhanced network security and privacy using private connection, leveraging AWS PrivateLink for your Lucidity Auto-scaler.
Self-Hosted: Choose our Self-Hosted tier for the highest level of control and compliance, with our team providing full support for deploying the Lucidity Auto-scaler within your private AWS cloud infrastructure.
The pay-as-you-go price for data managed remains constant at $0.06 per GB per month across all tiers, which will be charged based on the actual data usage in addition to the fixed monthly or yearly price.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract combines a usage dimension with three deployment options. The disk_managed dimension bills on the data you actually manage, measured in GB-month, so cost scales with your storage footprint. The remaining three dimensions set how the Auto-scaler is deployed. Lucidity Hosted covers a Lucidity-managed setup. PrivateLink runs the deployment privately through AWS. Self-Hosted keeps the deployment in your own environment for control and compliance. You pick a deployment option to match your security needs, then pay for the storage volume you manage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How is the disk_managed dimension measured, and what does one GB-month represent?
The disk_managed dimension bills on the data you actually use, not what you provision. One GB-month covers one gigabyte of managed block storage for one month. The Auto-scaler expands and shrinks volumes in real time, so your billed amount tracks real utilization rather than allocated capacity.
Does my managed storage charge change when the Auto-scaler shrinks a volume?
Yes. Billing follows the data you actually manage in GB-month. When the Auto-scaler shrinks a live volume, the managed amount drops and your charge falls with it. When data grows and volumes expand, the managed amount rises. Cost tracks real usage automatically, without manual action.
How do the deployment dimensions combine with the disk_managed usage charge on my bill?
You choose one deployment option: Lucidity Hosted, PrivateLink, or Self-Hosted. That sets how the Auto-scaler runs in your environment. The disk_managed dimension bills separately on storage volume in GB-month. The usage charge drives the variable portion of your bill, while the deployment choice reflects your security setup.
