The openbet geolocation SDK enables clients to smoothly and securely integrate the SDK into their application and have access to geolocation services in order to perform geolocation checks in real time and get a detailed response about user location, time, reason and result of the check to make a further decision (e.g. allow user to play or not).
Overview
Openbet geolocation SDK is designed to empower our clients native applications with reliable and secure geolocation capabilities while actively safeguarding against spoofing activities. Its developer friendly features make it a useful asset for applications requiring accurate and secure location based services.
Among the main principles of the solution, we can highlight the following:
Security - we implemented all required security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of geolocation data during transmission and processing.
Accuracy and precision - we prioritise delivering highly accurate and precise geolocation data. Along with that, we differentiate between successful geolocation and instances where the location could not be determined.
Spoofing detection - we implement the mechanism to identify possible spoofing activities. Warnings and corresponding alerts are triggered if VPN, proxy, jail breaking or screen sharing activities are detected.
Clear presentation of the geolocation results - we built a geo back office where all geolocation information for a particular user ID with additional insights into the reasons behind geolocation checks could be reviewed.
Analytics and reporting - we work on including analytics and reporting features to enable clients to gain insights into geolocation performance, and potential issues.
Developer friendly integration - we foster seamless integration by providing clear integration guide, APIs, postman collections and SDK to our clients.
Scalability - we design SDK with scalability in mind to accommodate increasing client bases and growing demands for geolocation services.

Highlights
- The openbet geo location solution will be used to accurately identify a players location within predefined geo fences whilst identifying any fraudulent and spoofing behaviours. The geolocation service allows operators to define a collection of geo fences per installation, and then use a client SDK implemented into native applications to process a check.
- The openbet geolocation service will review, store, and communicate the result of this check versus the geo fence collection back to the tenant, including any boundaries the player is in, the time to recheck and any error messages. Geo back office is an admin panel, a website where operators could review the geolocation checks results, analyse players behaviour and review reports related to geolocation activities of their users.
