AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a pre-built InfluxDB time series database image running on your chosen AWS EC2 instance. Pricing is not tiered by feature. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, and your cost scales with the size and family you select. Options span general-purpose (t2, t3, m6a), compute-optimized (c3), memory-optimized (r5), storage-optimized (i3), and accelerated instances (g3, f1, vt1). Larger instances within a family carry higher hourly rates. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and billing follows actual hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for each instance type dimension?
One hourly unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, with the pre-built InfluxDB image installed. You are billed for each hour that instance runs. Each dimension corresponds to a specific instance size and family, so your rate reflects the compute resources of that instance.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped or paused instance stops accruing the software charge. Underlying AWS storage and other resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the InfluxDB software meters running hours only.
How do I move to a different instance size if my workload grows?
Each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, so switching means launching the image on a different instance. There is no automatic upgrade between dimensions. You choose the family and size that fit your workload, and billing follows the hours the new instance runs.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
