Antithesis is an autonomous testing platform that helps you find and fix complex bugs in distributed systems, like applications built on AWS. It supplements or replaces your existing testing tools and lives alongside your normal CI workflow. Every problem we find can be perfectly reproduced, allowing for efficient debugging of even the most difficult issues.
The Antithesis autonomous testing platform gives your developers the confidence to ship fast and fearlessly.
It combines multiple advanced testing techniques to test your entire software stack, not just individual functions or programs, and finds and replicates your bugs before they impact your customers.
This prevents outages, saving your team days of war rooms and frustrating bug hunts. You can build braver, knowing that we'll catch the bugs you're not even looking for.
Antithesis combines several advanced testing techniques: property-based testing, deterministic simulation, and fault injection (chaos testing), into a single tool that fits seamlessly into your existing CI workflow.
Companies like MongoDB, Ramp, Confluent, and Mysten Labs rely on Antithesis to secure their releases and safeguard the reliability of their distributed systems.
Highlights
Powerful: Antithesis finds the unknown unknowns lurking in your code, even if you are not looking for them.
Simple: Define how your software should behave. Push your containers to Antithesis. Start a test and walk away.
Efficient: Get much, much more from every test you write. Write fewer tests that break less and cover more.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension: an annualized base commitment measured in core hours. A core hour reflects running your software on one CPU core for one hour, so your cost scales with how much compute testing you consume across the year. The listed price is a starting reference point rather than a fixed rate. You reach out to arrange a customized private offer tailored to your usage. Purchases often run through AWS Marketplace Private Offers, which can draw down your organization's committed AWS spend under your existing pricing agreement terms.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one core hour for billing?
A core hour reflects running your software on one CPU core for one hour. The platform runs your whole system on a single CPU core within a deterministic environment, then parallelizes runs across many cores. Your total core hours add up as you consume more compute testing time across the year.
How does cost scale as I test more of my system?
Your annual base commit covers a set amount of core hours. Cost scales with compute consumed, so testing more systems, running longer sessions, or adding related subsystems raises usage. Onboarding often starts with one critical subsystem, then expands over time as you add more systems or properties.
What must my software meet to run and consume core hours on the platform?
Your software must support x86 hardware and run in containers orchestrated by common container tools. Containerized dependencies like databases and messaging systems work directly. Software without a container image needs a mock. These requirements determine what you can deploy and test against your committed core hours.
