Overview
This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and for providing it in a simple consumable AMI.Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices. It also provides a rich library of various JavaScript modules which simplifies the development of web applications using Node.js to a great extent.
GlobalSolutions' offering is built and configured with the latest NodeJS, PHP, and MySQL. Start developing server-side and networking applications right away and don't spend any time configuring and building these stacks. The AMIs are hardened for production-grade and tweaked for high-end performance. We also have added PhpMyAdmin which allows you to manage your databases easily.

You pay by the hour for a Windows 2016 image that runs Node.js with MySQL and phpMyAdmin. Pricing scales with the EC2 instance type you launch. The dimensions map to instance families such as t2, t3, and t3a for general or burstable workloads, m3, m4, m5, and m5 variants (m5a, m5d, m5n, m5ad, m5dn, m5zn) for steady compute and memory, and c4 for compute-focused needs. Within each family, larger sizes from nano and micro up to 16xlarge cost more per hour. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs.

The image ships with Node.js, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin for managing your databases. It also includes process managers to run applications in the background. Sample programs are placed under a helloWorld directory to test the web server and the database connection.
You pay the hourly software rate only while the instance runs. A stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the software meter counts running hours only.
Each dimension maps to an EC2 instance type, and you choose based on compute and memory needs. The t2, t3, and t3a families suit burstable or variable workloads. The m3, m4, m5, and m5 variants suit steady compute and memory. The c4 family suits compute-focused work. Larger sizes cost more per hour.
