The dimensions list many instance types across general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and GPU families. Smaller instances carry lower hourly rates; more powerful instances with more CPU, memory, or storage cost more per hour. You choose the instance that fits your workload and scale up or down by switching types. The product runs the same on-premises password management software regardless of which instance you pick.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Charges apply per running instance-hour. A stopped or terminated instance does not accrue software charges. You pay only while the instance runs. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software licence meters running time only.
Your rate follows the EC2 instance size, not admin counts or features. Instance families cover general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and GPU workloads. Instances with more CPU, memory, or storage carry higher hourly rates. Smaller instances carry lower rates. The password management software runs the same across all types.
You switch to a different instance type that fits the new workload. Billing then follows the new type's hourly rate. There is no fixed cap on users, so you can add administrators and resources as you grow. The software is on-premises and deploys within your own AWS infrastructure.
