    Dimensions summary

This listing offers a single pricing dimension: prepaid API call units that expand your existing Enterprise contract. You purchase additional identification API calls in advance, on top of your current commitment. Each time the identification API runs, it counts as one call toward your volume, even for a repeat visitor. This dimension adds capacity rather than a new plan, so pricing scales directly with the number of prepaid units you buy. Use it when your expected API call volume grows beyond your current allotment.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each time the identification API runs and returns a visitor ID counts as one call. This applies even for a repeat visitor, because the servers must process every request. So identifying the same user twice consumes two calls, not one.
No. Two-level surge protection filters these out. The first level blocks DDoS attacks, so you are not billed for calls during an attack. The second is a web application firewall that filters malicious or abusive bot requests. You can also route requests through a custom filtering layer.
This dimension adds prepaid API call capacity on top of your existing Enterprise commitment. It does not replace your current allotment or create a new plan. You draw from the added units once your existing volume is used. Pricing scales directly with how many prepaid units you buy.

Accurate, Consistent Identification with Valuable Risk Signals

    Reviewed on Sep 13, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy and consistency of identification - it's accurate enough to make decisions based on it, and risk signals add a lot of value. Also, integration was quick thanks to nice SDK.
What do you dislike about the product?
Raw event payload is deep and nested, so pulling specific signals takes more work than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of people operating too many accounts on a system that pays out money. Everything else - emails, phone numbers are easy to rotate - device identity isn't.

Straightforward Implementation That Helps Prevent Fraud

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Fingerprint is straightforward to implement and consistently helps us identify suspicious users. It’s been effective for preventing fraud and account abuse, while keeping friction low for legitimate customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can become expensive as usage grows, and troubleshooting false positives or unexpected identification results could be more transparent and intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fingerprint helps us identify returning and suspicious users across devices and sessions, reducing fraud and account abuse. It also helps us avoid paying for fraudulent or duplicate traffic, improving traffic quality and lowering acquisition costs.

Detailed Bot Signals That Cut Scraper Traffic Fast

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We're a news site and we get scraped a lot. That was the whole reason we went looking – not fraud, not account takeover, just bots hammering our content around the clock. We looked at Cloudflare's bot stuff first (we already use them for CDN) but at the time it just wasn't detailed enough for what we needed. Fingerprint gives you the actual breakdown - VPN, residential proxy, VM, dev tools open, tampering - as separate signals instead of one score you have to trust blindly. For us that's the main thing. You can see what is hitting you and write rules against exactly that.

To give an idea of scale: over the last three months it flagged roughly 480K requests on VPN, 380K coming from VMs and 540K with tampering, and 148K classified outright as bad bots. In August we had a wave that pushed VPN traffic to about 2.5x the previous month, and instead of guessing what it was we could just look. At one point Meta's web indexer showed up in the browser list by name, which I didn't expect.

Integration was easy with React on the frontend and Django at the backend.

Support I honestly haven't needed. They email us when usage spikes, usually before we've noticed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price. The model makes sense on paper, but when what you're paying for is bot traffic, the better the bots get at hammering you the bigger your bill gets. Our usage went up 65% in the last month and a big chunk of that wasn't real readers. It's still worth it for us – we've been on it a couple of years and I haven't heard any real complaints beyond this one. But paying full rate for requests Fingerprint itself flags as bad bots does feel a bit odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is simple: we publish news, and bots want it without paying for it. Before Fingerprint we knew we were being scraped but mostly from the symptoms – traffic patterns that didn't look like readers, load that didn't match real audience. What we didn't have was a way to tell, per request, whether the thing on the other end was a person on a phone or a headless browser in a VM behind a VPN.

Now we do. Each request comes back with the specific signals – VPN, residential proxy, VM, tampering, dev tools, bad bot – so the team has something concrete to act on instead of a hunch, and the dashboard makes it easy to open it up and see what's going on without digging through logs. It also sits in a different layer from Cloudflare, which covers the network/CDN side, so the two complement each other rather than overlap.

The benefit for us is mostly that the scraping problem stopped being a black box. It's been running for a couple of years, the team doesn't have to think about it day to day, and when a wave comes in – like the one in August – we can see exactly what it is instead of guessing
