Group-IB Fraud Protection detects and prevents digital fraud in real time, delivering 130% ROI and 20% fewer false positives using behavioral analytics and device fingerprinting.
Group-IB Fraud Protection: AI-Powered Online Fraud Prevention for Enterprise
Group-IB Fraud Protection is a comprehensive platform that combines AI-driven technology, behavioral analytics, and expert human intelligence to safeguard your business from online fraud, financial losses, and reputational damage. Already protecting more than 500 million users across banking, fintech, e-commerce, and online gambling applications worldwide, the platform delivers proven results - lowering false positives by 20%, detecting 10-20% more fraud attempts, and delivering 130% return on investment.
Group-IB is one of only two vendors recognized by Gartner as having implemented the cyber-fraud kill chain as a form of "fraud intelligence" within their platform. The proprietary Fraud Matrix framework - inspired by MITRE ATT&CK - maps fraudster tools, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) across the full attack lifecycle, enabling organizations to build layered defenses.
Industry Use Cases
Financial Services: Protect login, payment, and transfer flows against credential-stuffing, account takeover, and banking trojans. Behavioral profiling analyzes typing dynamics, device motion, and session patterns to detect unauthorized access in real time - blocking fraudsters at the authentication stage before funds are compromised.
E-Commerce and Retail: Defend checkout and promotional flows from bot-driven promo abuse, payment fraud, and multi-accounting schemes. Device fingerprinting powered by patented Global ID technology identifies anti-detect browsers and account farming operations, preserving revenue integrity while maintaining frictionless experiences for legitimate shoppers.
Online Gambling and Betting: Detect mule accounts, bonus abuse, and collusion rings through advanced relationship analysis that links suspicious accounts across devices and geographies using cross-client intelligence sharing.
Key Capabilities
Device Fingerprinting and Global ID: Patented next-generation device identification that creates unique fingerprints based on hardware and software parameters, tracks devices across sessions, and shares fraud intelligence across clients globally
Behavioral Analytics: AI-powered user behavior analysis covering typing dynamics, touchscreen interactions, device motion, app usage patterns, and geoprofiling to detect anomalies in real time
Customizable Rule Engine: No-code rule builder that lets your fraud team create, test, and deploy custom detection rules aligned with your risk appetite and regulatory requirements
Mule Account Detection: Advanced relationship analysis linking accounts through device fingerprints, behavioral patterns, and Global ID verification
Banking Trojan and RAT Detection: Proactive malware identification through behavioral analysis without requiring additional software installation
Explainable AI: Transparent risk scores with clear explanations of contributing factors, enabling auditability and trust
Integration and Deployment
Deploy Group-IB Fraud Protection on AWS for cloud-native scalability and reliability. Integration requires:
Web Applications: Add the Group-IB JavaScript Web Snippet to your site pages
Mobile Applications: Integrate the Group-IB Mobile SDK into your iOS or Android app (no changes to application logic required)
Risk Management Platforms: Connect via Pull or Push mode APIs to your existing risk management infrastructure
The solution does not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) - it processes only hashed or encrypted user IDs and session IDs that cannot be associated with an individual.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract combines three separate pricing dimensions that you can scale independently. The Active Users dimension counts unique depositing customers who log in during your contract term from any digital channel. Billing is based on active users, not one-time logins, and each user can have unlimited logins or devices. The other two dimensions count deployment footprint: the number of iOS or Android mobile SDK deployments, and the number of websites or web applications you need to protect. You size each dimension to match your user base and the channels you cover.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Active User for billing?
An Active User is a unique depositing customer who logs in to your protected platform during the contract term. The count is based on active depositing customers, not one-time logins. Each user can log in unlimited times and use unlimited devices without adding to the count.
Does adding logins or devices for existing users increase my cost?
No. Billing counts unique active depositing customers, not their login events. Each user can log in unlimited times and use unlimited devices without raising your Active Users count. Your cost changes only when the number of distinct active depositing customers changes during the contract term.
How do the three dimensions combine on my bill?
The three dimensions bill independently and add together. Active Users scales with your depositing customer base. Mobile Application to be protected counts each iOS or Android SDK deployment. Website or Web application counts each site or web app. You size each one separately to match your channels.
