Overview
ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is a room-based platform designed to improve collaboration on office documents with various people you need to interact such as colleagues, teammates, customers, partners, contractors, etc. The platform comes with the integrated online viewers and editors allowing you to work with any content, including text docs, digital forms, PDFs, sheets, presentations, e-books, and multimedia. By enabling the plugins, you can also work with draw.io diagrams and Markdown files. DocSpace rooms come with the pre-set access level to ensure quick file sharing and avoid unnecessary repeated actions. Collaboration rooms are intended to co-author docs. In Public rooms, external users can view files without registration. Custom rooms are designed for any custom purpose, for example, to request review or comments. Form Filling rooms allow collecting and analyzing responses. Virtual Data Rooms are used for advanced file security. Ready-to-use DocSpace integrations with Zoom, WordPress, Drupal, Zapier, Pipedrive will complement user experience. This version of ONLYOFFICE DocSpace Enterprise is intended for up to 500 users - the number of people who have access to editing documents. The number of documents that can be edited at the same time is not limited. Other users will be able to open documents for viewing only.

You pay by the hour for the compute instance that runs ONLYOFFICE DocSpace Enterprise 500. Two instance sizes are available: t3.2xlarge and t3.xlarge. Both bill on an hourly usage basis, so your cost tracks the running time of the instance you choose. The t3.2xlarge offers more compute capacity than the t3.xlarge, letting you match the instance size to your workload. Charges accrue only while an instance runs. This is the core pricing structure; you select the size that fits your document collaboration needs.

Each dimension maps to an AWS EC2 instance type that hosts the DocSpace software. The t3.2xlarge provides more vCPU and memory than the t3.xlarge. You choose the size based on the number of users and documents your team collaborates on. Both run the same DocSpace Enterprise 500 software.
Hourly software charges accrue only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops the hourly software meter. Underlying AWS storage or other AWS resource fees may still apply for stored data, but the DocSpace software charge tracks running time only.
The instance size sets available compute for the deployment, not a per-user license charge. DocSpace lets you invite users and guests, billing focuses on admins in the software model. A larger instance like t3.2xlarge supports heavier document and collaboration workloads than t3.xlarge.

After deploying the instance, wait 10-15 minutes to complete the application setup process. Access the application via a browser at http://<public_ip>/. To connect to the operating system, use SSH and the username ubuntu.
