ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is a room-based platform designed to improve collaboration on office documents with various people you need to interact such as colleagues, teammates, customers, partners, contractors, etc.
The platform comes with the integrated online viewers and editors allowing you to work with any content, including text docs, digital forms, PDFs, sheets, presentations, e-books, and multimedia. By enabling the plugins, you can also work with draw.io diagrams and Markdown files.
DocSpace rooms come with the pre-set access level to ensure quick file sharing and avoid unnecessary repeated actions. Collaboration rooms are intended to co-author docs. In Public rooms, external users can view files without registration. Custom rooms are designed for any custom purpose, for example, to request review or comments. Form Filling rooms allow collecting and analyzing responses. Virtual Data Rooms are used for advanced file security.
Ready-to-use DocSpace integrations with Zoom, WordPress, Drupal, Zapier, Pipedrive will complement user experience.
This version of ONLYOFFICE DocSpace Enterprise is intended for up to 1000 users - the number of people who have access to editing documents. The number of documents that can be edited at the same time is not limited. Other users will be able to open documents for viewing only.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the AWS instance size you run this software on. Two options are available: t3.xlarge and t3.2xlarge. The t3.2xlarge provides more compute and memory resources than the t3.xlarge. Both bill per hour of usage, so your cost scales with how long each instance runs. Choose the instance size that matches your expected workload. There is no upfront commitment; you pay only for the hours you use. This deployment runs DocSpace Enterprise on your own AWS server for document collaboration.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What resources do the t3.xlarge and t3.2xlarge instances provide for running DocSpace?
Each option maps to an AWS EC2 instance size that hosts your DocSpace server. The t3.xlarge offers a set amount of vCPUs and memory. The t3.2xlarge doubles those compute and memory resources. You pick the size that fits your expected number of admins, users, and stored documents.
Am I charged when my DocSpace instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached disk may still apply while the instance is stopped. Metering resumes once you start the instance again.
Does moving from t3.xlarge to t3.2xlarge require reinstalling DocSpace or migrating data?
Switching instance size is an AWS-level change to the compute your DocSpace runs on. You resize the instance rather than buy a separate license. Your rooms, documents, and settings stay on the attached storage. The new hourly rate applies from the hour the larger instance starts running.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Streamlined Document Collaboration with Clear Access Control

What do you like best about the product?
⭐ What I like most about ONLYOFFICE DocSpace I really appreciate how ONLYOFFICE DocSpace structures collaboration around “Spaces.” It makes permission management, file organization, and teamwork feel very clear, controlled, and easy to follow. Rather than mixing internal and external collaborators in one shared environment, each Space works like an independent workspace with its own rules and boundaries, which helps keep everything organized and reduces confusion. This structure also aligns with the G2 guideline to “focus on the features that bring the most value”.
The interface is clean and intuitive, so new members can jump in and start working almost immediately without much training. That’s something the page also encourages by recommending “specific examples that help others understand your perspective”.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is that some parts of the interface still feel less polished compared to more mature collaboration platforms. While the Space‑based structure is powerful, it can take time for new users to understand how different Spaces, roles, and permissions interact. Integrations also feel limited in certain workflows, so switching between tools is sometimes unavoidable. Improving onboarding guidance and expanding native integrations would make the overall experience smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ONLYOFFICE DocSpace solves several collaboration and document‑management problems that used to slow down our workflow. The Space‑based structure eliminates permission confusion by clearly separating internal and external collaborators, which makes project boundaries much easier to manage. It also centralizes files, discussions, and tasks in one place, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools.
For me, the biggest benefit is the clarity and control it brings to collaboration. I no longer spend time checking who has access to what or searching across different platforms for the latest version of a document. Everything stays organized within its Space, and onboarding new contributors is much faster. This has noticeably improved our team’s efficiency and reduced communication overhead.
