Overview
Claude Apps Gateway is a self-hosted control plane for enterprise Claude Code deployments. Replace per-developer API keys with corporate SSO via any OIDC identity provider. Run one stateless container on Amazon ECS backed by RDS PostgreSQL to enforce model access and tool policies per IdP group, cap spend per user or team, and route inference through Amazon Bedrock.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

Quick Start
- Create ECS cluster and RDS PostgreSQL 14+ database
- Set env vars: OIDC_CLIENT_SECRET, GATEWAY_JWT_SECRET, GATEWAY_POSTGRES_URL, CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR=/tmp/.claude
- Mount gateway.yaml at /etc/claude/gateway.yaml read-only
- Launch ECS task on port 8080
- Place behind internal ALB with ACM TLS
