Places is a dataset containing business listing information about points-of-interest (POI), including:
- Location name
- Postal code
- Latitude and longitude
- NAICS codes
- Open hours
- Street address, city, and region
- Brands
This free dataset includes all identified Starbucks locations in the US, as of SafeGraph's December 2020 release. Dataset contains more than 14,000 POI and is an example of the data customers would see in the available, for-pay Places datasets.

- All SafeGraph POI-based datasets utilize Placekey as the primary key and are formatted as delimited CSVs.
- SafeGraph updates the dataset every month with the past month's openings and closings.

The full Places dataset updates monthly, by the 7th day of each month, reflecting store openings and closures. The data covers physical locations only. It does not include individual consumer data, device-level signals, or foot traffic information of any kind.
