Overview
Extend your existing IBM Db2 Enterprise Server Edition (ESE) or Advanced Enterprise Server Edition (AESE) licenses to Amazon RDS with IBM Db2 Add-ons. These add-ons convert PVU-based licenses into VPC-based entitlements (70 PVUs = 1 VPC), allowing you to deploy Db2 Advanced Edition on RDS using the Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model. Simplify migration, preserve your investments, and run enterprise-grade Db2 in a fully managed AWS environment. Only customers with existing Db2 Enterprise Server Edition (ESE) or Db2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition (AESE) are eligible for this add-on.
