Responses from the application can be compressed, cached & returned to the client at optimum speed, freeing up resources on the server. Built-in TrafficScript language gives you full control over how individual requests are optimized, routed & transformed. Traffic management rules may also be created using Java™ Extensions. Pulse vTM includes a web-based admin interface to display powerful real-time analysis & history for all traffic across Traffic Manager clusters. Alternatively, you can integrate into remote management & event monitoring frameworks using SOAP APIs & SNMP. A Web Application Firewall module is available via other Pulse Secure AMIs. Only the 18.3 version (or later) can be deployed on the nitro instance types.

Pulse Secure Virtual Traffic Manager Standard Edition - 200 Mbps
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.

You pay by the hour for the Standard Edition traffic manager, with throughput capped at 200 Mbps. Pricing is not tiered by features. Instead, you pick the AWS EC2 instance type that runs the software, and the hourly rate follows that instance choice. The many options span compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and general-purpose families in sizes from large up to 32xlarge. Larger instances carry more CPU, memory, and networking capacity, so their hourly rates rise accordingly. Choose the instance that matches your workload and budget; the software capability stays the same across all of them.

What does one hour of billing cover, and am I charged when the instance is stopped?
Each dimension bills per running instance-hour for the AWS EC2 instance type you select. Charges accrue only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing software charges, though underlying AWS storage fees may still apply. You pay for actual running time with no upfront commitment.
Does choosing a larger instance type raise my throughput above the 200 Mbps cap?
No. The Standard Edition caps throughput at 200 Mbps regardless of instance choice. Larger instances give more CPU, memory, and networking headroom for your workload, but the traffic manager's licensed throughput stays fixed. You pick the instance to match host resources, not to raise the throughput limit.
How do the software charge and the AWS infrastructure charge combine on my bill?
Two charges apply per running hour and add together. One is the software license tied to the 200 Mbps Standard Edition. The other is the AWS EC2 cost for the instance type you run it on. Both meter the same running hours and appear on your invoice together.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Ivanti Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC) is to deliver patches in all our servers, and it is helpful for making our servers compliant.
I use Ivanti Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC) to get the updates from Microsoft and push them into the Ivanti software, and then through that Ivanti server, we deploy them in all the servers that have the Ivanti agent.
Currently, we are using Ivanti Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC) just for delivering patches and updating patches in all the servers in our environment.
What is most valuable?
The best features that Ivanti Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC) offers include its ability to help make us compliant at 95%, which is a big win if you are able to comply with 95% of devices, and it is also helpful for providing exact error codes, allowing us to troubleshoot accordingly.

What needs improvement?
To improve Ivanti Virtual Application Delivery Controller (vADC), I would suggest integrating something to fix the registry of a server, as including any steps that fix the registry or any DLL files causing issues where patches did not install properly would be beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
It is secure and are hardened against intrusion and Dos. It uses strong SSL encryption technologies and can decrypt and re-encrypt secure connections. It using unique trafficscript language and builtin Java extensions to write traffic management rules and policies. It also offers cluster redundancy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has minor bugs. Sometimes connections flapping observed

It provides encrypted secure connections, supports java extensions. It provides SSL encryption, service protraction, bandwidth management, SLM. It support GUI as well as CLi.

Pulse Secure works with many different operating systems. The ability to automatically connect is a great time saver when logging on.

Since using Pulse Secure there is nothing I have found that I dislike.

Since using Pulse, the connection time overall has expanded which is a great ROI. Additionally, it is very economical.
