S3 Cost Saver is a self-hosted storage-cost analysis tool from PPK TECH LLC that helps AWS teams find and eliminate wasted Amazon S3 spend - without ever moving, modifying, or exfiltrating a single object.
Deployed as a single AMI inside your own AWS account, S3 Cost Saver reads object metadata such as size, age, and storage class through a read-only IAM role and turns it into an executive-ready picture of where your storage dollars are going.

Usage instructions
- Subscribe to the S3 Cost Saver AWS Marketplace product and launch the AMI.
- Choose an appropriate EC2 instance size (t3.small minimum recommended).
- Attach an IAM instance role with s3:ListAllMyBuckets, s3:ListBucket, s3:GetBucketLocation, and aws-marketplace:GetEntitlements permissions.
- Allow inbound TCP 443 (HTTPS) from your trusted network only.
- Allow SSH TCP 22 only from administrator IP addresses when required.
- Access the dashboard at https://<instance-ip>/.
- The Marketplace contract determines the application edition automatically. No license key is required.
