Read-only AWS scans across 30+ services and 51+ detection types. Unused and idle resources in every region, named in a weekly email. Full report in the app. Slack and Teams for scan alerts. 5-minute setup. Zero agents.
Find the AWS resources no one is using, before finance does.
unusd.cloud runs deterministic, read-only scans across 30+ AWS services and every enabled region (51+ detection types). Idle EC2, unattached EBS, forgotten NAT gateways, extended-support traps, CloudWatch waste, and more. Setup takes about five minutes: you deploy a read-only IAM role with CloudFormation, Terraform, or StackSets. No agents. No stored credentials. Nothing is changed in your accounts unless you act.
What the scan names:
Compute (idle EC2, working-hours schedules, unused AMIs, Dedicated Hosts, Lambda). Storage (unattached and idle EBS, gp2/io1 to gp3, snapshots, EFS, S3 inventory). Databases (idle RDS, Redshift, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, DocumentDB). Caching (idle ElastiCache, Redis to Valkey). Networking (Elastic IPs, VPC endpoints, NAT gateways, load balancers). Containers (ECR, EKS extended support). Machine Learning (SageMaker). Analytics (Glue, QuickSight, CloudTrail, Kinesis, Step Functions). Operations (CloudWatch logs, metrics, alarms, dashboards). Security (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager). DNS and Transfer Family. Plus Graviton paths, EC2-Other breakdown, Savings Advisor, and Cost Optimization Hub on Enterprise.
How you receive it:
Email carries a concise weekly digest you can forward. Slack and Teams get scan alerts, including findings that cleared. The full web report, trends, and drill-downs live in the dashboard. Navi, on Business, sits on that report and stays off until you enable it in Settings. SNS (JSON) is for automation on Enterprise. On Enterprise, the executive digest can post to a Telegram Channel you own. Trends follow each unused resource over time. Realized savings are findings that actually cleared.
Navi is grounded in your scan results, not open-web search. It is off until you enable it in Settings. On Enterprise, a Settings note for org facts the scan cannot see.
Security:
Hub-and-spoke with a customer-unique ExternalId. Read-only AWS APIs only. We store report metadata (account IDs, finding identity, savings estimates), not credentials or resource contents.

Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one credit when scanning my AWS resources?
One credit equals one resource scanned. Each individual resource the tool inspects across your connected accounts uses one credit. Your monthly credit allotment sets how many resources you can scan. Startup, Business, and Enterprise Plans include 15,000, 50,000, and 100,000 credits per month.
Does my cost depend on how many AWS accounts I connect?
No. On the Startup, Business, and Enterprise Plans you connect unlimited AWS accounts. Billing tracks credits, meaning resources scanned, not the number of accounts. The Individual Plan is limited to one AWS account with 30 scans.
What notification and cost features unlock as I move to higher plans?
Startup includes email and Slack alerts. Business adds Teams and optional Navi. Enterprise adds SNS (JSON), Telegram for the executive digest, org notes, Savings Advisor (RI/SP), Cost Optimization Hub, and management reports. Each plan builds on the detection and notification options of the one before it.
