unusd.cloud automatically scans 20+ AWS services with 32+ detection types to identify unused and underutilized resources, delivering actionable reports that help you cut cloud waste, reduce security risks, and forecast spending - all with read-only access and zero agents.
unusd.cloud scans your AWS accounts for unused, idle, and underutilized resources across 20+ services and 32+ detection types - from idle EC2 instances and unattached EBS volumes to inactive IAM roles, unused Secrets Manager secrets, and orphaned SageMaker endpoints. Setup takes under 5 minutes with a single CloudFormation or Terraform deployment, using read-only access with no agents and no stored credentials.
What unusd.cloud detects:
Compute (EC2 idle instances, unused AMIs, Dedicated Hosts), Storage (unattached EBS volumes, gp2 to gp3 migration candidates, old snapshots, S3 bucket sizing), Databases (idle RDS and Redshift instances, RDS Extended Support), Networking (unassociated Elastic IPs, unused VPC Endpoints, underutilized NAT Gateways and Load Balancers), Containers (ECR unused images, EKS Extended Support), Machine Learning (idle SageMaker Endpoints, Notebooks, and Apps), Analytics (Glue sessions, inactive QuickSight users, duplicate CloudTrail trails), Security (unused IAM roles and users, unused KMS keys, unused Secrets Manager secrets), and more.
Beyond detection - actionable optimization:
unusd.cloud does not just flag waste. It recommends Graviton migration paths for RDS, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch. It breaks down your EC2-Other charges so you understand exactly where money goes. The Savings Advisor (Enterprise) provides Reserved Instance and Savings Plans recommendations across compute and database services. Cost Anomaly Detection (Drift) alerts you to unexpected spending spikes with intelligent severity classification.
Built for teams and multi-account environments:
Connect up to 50 AWS accounts under a single dashboard with AWS Organizations support. Configure per-account scan schedules (daily or weekly, in your timezone) and deliver reports via Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Amazon SNS for automation workflows. Role-based access control (Admin, FinOps, Viewer) enables safe team collaboration. Exception tagging lets you whitelist legitimate resources to reduce noise.
Security by design:
Hub-and-spoke architecture with a unique ExternalId per customer prevents confused deputy attacks. Only report metadata is stored - never your AWS resource data. TLS encryption at rest and in transit. Follows AWS Well-Architected Framework and FinOps Foundation best practices.
Plans available on AWS Marketplace:
Business ($500/month) - up to 10 AWS accounts, unlimited scans, Slack notifications, team collaboration, cost anomaly detection, and priority support.
Enterprise ($1,000/month) - up to 50 AWS accounts, Navi AI companion for natural language cost queries, Savings Advisor (RI/SP), Microsoft Teams and SNS integration, management reports, and premium support.
Highlights
32+ Detection Types Across 20+ AWS Services: Scans compute, storage, databases, networking, containers, ML, analytics, security, and DNS resources to surface every source of cloud waste - from idle EC2 instances to unused KMS keys and orphaned SageMaker endpoints.
5-Minute Setup, Read-Only, Zero Agents: Deploy a single IAM role via CloudFormation or Terraform. No write permissions, no agents installed, no credentials stored. Your data never leaves your account - only report metadata is retained.
Actionable Reports with Cost Forecasting and Drift Detection: Receive scheduled reports via Email, Slack, Teams, or SNS with per-resource savings estimates, Graviton migration recommendations, gp2-to-gp3 upgrade paths, and intelligent spending anomaly alerts.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

The Startup, Business, and Enterprise plans each cover unlimited or increasing AWS accounts and use a monthly credit allowance that grows across tiers. Team member limits and integration options also expand as you move up. All plans include the detection scans; the plans differ by credit volume, account coverage, collaboration seats, and available integrations and support level.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a scan or credit toward my monthly plan usage?
A scan runs the detection rules against your AWS account to find waste. The Individual Plan gives you 30 scans. The Startup, Business, and Enterprise plans use monthly credits instead, letting you run scheduled scans until you reach your credit allowance for that month.
What happens if I add more AWS accounts than my plan allows?
The Individual Plan covers one AWS account. The Business Plan covers up to 10 accounts. The Startup and Enterprise plans cover unlimited accounts. If you outgrow your account limit, you would move to a plan with wider coverage rather than paying per extra account.
Which features are exclusive to specific plans versus shared across all four?
All plans include the detection scans. Cost anomaly detection and Slack notifications start with the Startup Plan. The Enterprise Plan adds MS Teams and SNS integration, Navi AI with custom instructions, Savings Advisor, Cost Optimization Hub integration, and management reports. Team seats grow from single-user up to 25 members.
