SynxDB Cloud is a PostgreSQL-compatible data warehouse that runs in your AWS account. Scale compute and storage independently. Your data stays in your account. Ask us about private offers. Run several warehouses against the same data without copying it. Connect with psql, dbt, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or any PostgreSQL driver. Infrastructure in your account is billed by AWS.
SynxDB Cloud: Analytical Warehouses That Run in Your AWS Account
SynxDB Cloud deploys analytical data warehouses inside your AWS account. Compute runs on Amazon EKS and Amazon EC2. Table data stays in Amazon S3. Compute and storage are separate. High availability does not require a mirror of every compute process. Access uses your AWS IAM. Encryption uses AWS KMS. Your data never leaves your account or moves to a vendor-managed environment.
This is not an AMI and not Amazon RDS. It is warehouse software that runs in your AWS account. Infrastructure in your account is billed by AWS. Software access is a Marketplace subscription, so the split shows up on your AWS bill.
Run Multiple Warehouses Against One Dataset
Create, scale, suspend, resume, and delete independent warehouses as your workload changes. Each warehouse can be a different size and operate on its own schedule, without copying the dataset for every team. Compute and storage scale independently.
Suspend a warehouse when it is not in use. Storage is billed separately from compute, so a paused warehouse does not accumulate compute charges.
Give each team or workload its own warehouse, all reading from the same data in Amazon S3.
Resize a warehouse up or down without migrating data or disrupting other warehouses on the same dataset.
Query Amazon S3 and Apache Iceberg Without Copying Data
You can query data already stored in Amazon S3, including Apache Iceberg tables, without ingesting or duplicating it into a second warehouse. If you need other lake or streaming connectors, ask.
PostgreSQL-Compatible: Use the Tools You Already Have
The query engine is based on Apache Cloudberry (Incubating). Any driver that speaks PostgreSQL speaks SynxDB Cloud. Use a connection string from:
psql
dbt
Metabase
Tableau
Power BI
Existing ORMs and application frameworks
Example: Team Analytics on Shared Data
If several teams need analytics, the usual choice is one overloaded warehouse or a copy of the data per team. With SynxDB Cloud you can run a warehouse per team, all pointing at the same S3-backed dataset. Each team scales compute independently, suspends when idle, and does not maintain redundant copies. This also matters if you are moving analytical workloads off an existing MPP database where compute and storage were tightly coupled.

Highlights
Your data stays in your AWS account. There is no move to third-party infrastructure.
Scale compute and storage independently. Create, suspend, and resume warehouses so you only use compute when you need it.
PostgreSQL-compatible SQL. Connect with psql, dbt, Metabase, and other tools that speak PostgreSQL.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract charges you for compute measured in vCPU hours. You have two ways to buy. The Pay-as-you-go option bills each vCPU per hour under the contract, so your cost tracks the compute you actually run. The Synx Data Platform option bundles 1,000 hours of vCPU into the contract. Compute and storage scale separately, and paused clusters are free on compute. For a private offer with custom terms, you contact the vendor directly. Both options run the same managed warehouse engine on AWS.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one vCPU hour for billing?
A vCPU hour is one virtual CPU running for one hour of active cluster time. The engine meters compute per second while a cluster runs queries. Multiple vCPUs running together add up to more vCPU hours. Compute is billed separately from the storage you keep on S3.
Am I charged for compute when a cluster is paused?
No. Paused clusters accrue no compute charges. Billing meters active cluster time only, measured per second. When you pause a cluster, vCPU hours stop counting. You still pay for any data you retain on the underlying S3 storage, which is billed separately.
How does the Pay-as-you-go option differ from the Synx Data Platform bundle?
Pay-as-you-go meters each vCPU per hour under the contract, so cost tracks the compute you actually run. The Synx Data Platform option bundles 1,000 hours of vCPU into the contract. Pay-as-you-go suits variable workloads; the bundle suits steadier, planned compute usage.
