Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Your credits pay for platform services charged by usage. These include running Actors, proxies, data transfer, and storage. Each Actor run draws compute units, plus any proxies and data transfer it uses. The exact draw depends on the Actor, how often it runs, and how long each run lasts.
Excess usage does not stop your work on a paid plan. You keep using the platform, and the overage gets added to your next invoice with a notification. Unused credits do not roll over; they expire at the end of each billing cycle.
You get a Technical Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Account Manager assigned to your project. The team builds and maintains custom web scrapers, AI agents, and integrations. What do you like best about the product?
Simple and safe to use. It feels safe because you don’t connect directly to the tools you want to scrape data from, so you reduce the risk of those tools blocking your account. It’s also simple since you only need to provide an Apify token to Claude AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the price is cheap, the billing lacks the details that would make the costs more predictable.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Apify because it's cheap and cost-effective. I find their data collection extremely good, and I love the options they provide to do a lot of different things for my business. It's also simple to set up, which is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
When some of the information comes back incorrect, there should be a mechanism in place where you get your money refunded, and you don't have to actually pay for that research.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify helps me generate leads cost-effectively versus using ads, and allows me to qualify leads without wasting money.

What do you like best about the product?
Apify is easy to use even for a small personal development project. The cost is reasonable, there is no complicated approval process, and the wide variety of Actors makes it easy to add useful data such as flight and hotel search results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see clearer information about how individual Actors are maintained over time. I would also appreciate more transparency about whether data access methods are officially supported or recognized by external services such as Google.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify solves the problem of accessing useful travel data without relying on expensive APIs or APIs that require approval based on website traffic or business history. As an individual developer, I have been able to implement real-time flight searches and hotel information searches in Travel Compass while keeping costs reasonable and development relatively simple.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to use the actors and established scripts on the website without a lot of tedious parameter setup. I can connect the actor, reuse my pre-established parameters via API and MCP, and then I’m off to the races running batch jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can occasionally be hit or miss with certain actors, especially those with lower token utilization. That lower token utilization also suggests they haven’t been fully vetted, per se, which likely explains the lower token cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m using Apify to build multi-step MCP connections and enrich business intelligence profiles. This has helped us strengthen our ICP polling and establish clearer TAM benchmarks.

Easy to use and reliable. Prebuilt scraping actors are awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Tracking billing per usecase is hard, so i cannot split the billing across multiple usecases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using apify to get public instagram data. Integration was super easy to set up, their APIs are nicely designed.
