Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the AWS compute instance you run this software on. The ten dimensions map to different EC2 instance types, so your cost scales with the instance you select and the hours you use it. Most options are compute-optimized instances in the 4xlarge size, which vary by processor generation, family, and local storage. Two options add GPU capacity: the g5.24xlarge and g2.8xlarge instances, suited to heavier AI workloads. You choose an instance based on your performance needs, and hourly billing follows that choice.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hour reflects one running EC2 instance of that type. The 4xlarge compute options give CPU cores and memory sized for general processing. The g5.24xlarge and g2.8xlarge add GPU hardware for AI model training and video-language workloads. You pick the instance matching your compute or GPU needs.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. Stopping or terminating the instance halts the software meter, so paused workloads accrue no software cost. Underlying AWS charges, such as storage attached to a stopped instance, may still apply separately from this software's hourly rate.
You run one instance type at a time, and each is billed per hour independently. Switching means stopping one instance and launching another; you then pay the hourly rate for the new type. Your bill reflects the instance running and the hours it runs, not a fixed commitment.
