NocoBase: Open-Source No-Code Development Platform on AWS by Meetrix.io
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you pick, and the software runs on that instance. The 13 options are not feature tiers. They are different EC2 instance types that vary by compute power, memory, and processor family. Smaller instances like t3.small and t2.medium suit development or testing. Larger general-purpose and compute-optimized instances like m5.large, c5.large, and m6a.large handle heavier production workloads. Your cost scales with the instance you choose, plus standard AWS infrastructure charges. You can change instance types later to match your workload.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What am I actually paying for with the hourly instance charge?
You pay for the running EC2 instance that hosts the NocoBase software, billed per hour. Each option maps to a specific instance type with set vCPU and memory. The rate covers the software license on that instance plus the underlying AWS compute time.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
Hourly software charges apply while the instance runs. When you stop the NocoBase instance, software charges stop. You can restart it later. Stopped instances may still incur standard AWS storage fees for the attached EBS volume, which are separate from the software charge.
How do I move to a bigger instance if my workload grows?
You can change the EC2 instance type to handle higher workloads. The guide recommends starting with t3.small for development and t3.medium or larger for production. For heavier scaling, you can add load balancing and adjust AWS resources. Your hourly rate then follows the new instance type.

It provides a private and extensible alternative to SaaS platforms, enabling teams to securely design, deploy, and scale custom applications on their own AWS infrastructure without writing code.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
