This listing has one pricing dimension: Software Defined Interconnections, billed in units under a contract. You buy units to connect your clouds, data centers, and private network. Pricing is not published on the table. Instead, you contact the vendor for a private offer tailored to your setup. Your cost depends on factors like port speed, connection type, and contract length, which you configure through the platform. Because pricing is quote-based, the number of units you need scales with your connectivity requirements rather than following fixed published tiers.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Software Defined Interconnection unit represent for billing?
A unit maps to a connection you build through the platform, such as a Layer 2 point-to-point link or a Layer 3 CloudRouter route. You use units to link your clouds, data centers, and private network. Each connection you provision draws on the units you purchase.
What factors change how many units I need?
Your unit needs scale with port speed, connection type, and how many connections you provision. Port speeds range from 100Mbps up to 100Gbps, and you can adjust bandwidth on demand to match your workloads. More connections or higher bandwidth means more capacity you configure through the platform.
Do I need an Access Port to connect two cloud providers?
No. An Access Port is not required to create cloud-to-cloud connections. You use CloudRouter to build a virtual Layer 3 mesh between cloud regions and providers without installing or managing equipment. Access Ports are needed when connecting your own enterprise sites or data centers.
