This listing bills you by usage each month, with two independent dimensions. You pay for the number of managed systems per month and, separately, the number of monitored systems per month. Managed systems cover patching, provisioning, and configuration tasks from a single console. Monitored systems cover real-time monitoring. Each dimension counts systems on its own, so your total scales with how many systems you actively manage and how many you monitor. There are no tiers or fixed bundles; costs rise or fall with your monthly counts in each category. Billing follows a pay-monthly cloud model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A managed system is any Linux client the platform patches, provisions, or configures from the console. A monitored system is any client tracked with real-time monitoring. Each physical or virtual Linux client counts individually. A single client can be both managed and monitored, so it may count under both dimensions.
Both dimensions bill independently and appear on the same invoice. Managed systems usually drive most cost, since patching, provisioning, and configuration apply to your working fleet. Monitored-system charges depend on how many clients you track in real time. Your total is the sum of both monthly counts.
Billing follows a pay-monthly cloud model based on your system counts each month. Charges reflect the number of managed and monitored systems during that period. For exact proration when systems come and go mid-month, confirm the metering details with the vendor.

Usage instructions
Use the image to start an instance of your choice in Amazon EC2. Once the instance is running connect to it using a Secure Shell (SSH) client as 'ec2-user' and the configured SSH key.
If you started from scratch an IAM role with the required permissions was automatically created. As this role isn't attached automatically at instance launch make sure to attach this role after the instance has launched.
