AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses contract-based pricing built around two dimensions. The Octopai dimension is your base tier. It bundles a set allotment of 5 connectors, 10 Lineage users, and 25 Catalog viewers. Connectors link the product to data sources for automated lineage tracking. Lineage users work with the mapping tools, while Catalog viewers access the data catalog. The second dimension lets you add more connectors, users, or viewers beyond the base tier. You pay for these add-ons as your needs grow, layering extra capacity on top of the included Octopai bundle.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one connector, and how does it differ from a Lineage user or Catalog viewer?
A connector is a link between the product and a data source, ETL process, or BI report used for automated lineage tracking. A Lineage user works with the mapping and tracing tools. A Catalog viewer accesses the data catalog to search and view metadata. Each type is counted and billed separately.
What happens when I need more than the 5 connectors, 10 Lineage users, or 25 Catalog viewers included in the base tier?
You buy the second dimension to add capacity beyond the Octopai base allotment. You pay only for the extra connectors, users, or viewers you add. These add-ons layer on top of the included bundle, so your base allotment stays intact while you scale up.
Which dimension drives most of my cost as usage grows?
The Octopai base tier is a fixed bundle covering 5 connectors, 10 Lineage users, and 25 Catalog viewers. Beyond that, the add-on dimension drives incremental cost. Whether connectors, users, or viewers dominate depends on which capacity you exceed first. Both dimensions bill together on the same contract.
