AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a pay-as-you-go model with two billing dimensions. You pay for actual usage each month, so charges rise and fall with the compute you consume. Usage is measured in Cloudera Compute Units, which combine core and memory. The first dimension covers your monthly pay-as-you-go usage. The second dimension, ClouderaCredits, also bills monthly based on actual usage. There is no fixed quantity to commit to upfront. Both dimensions scale with how much you run, rather than a flat subscription fee. Infrastructure, networking, and related cloud costs are separate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is a Cloudera Compute Unit (CCU), and how is it counted?
A CCU is a unit of measure combining processing cores and memory. Each service meters the CCUs your workloads consume while running. Published CCU rates are estimates and can vary based on the actual instance types you deploy. GPU instance rates per CCU may differ from standard rates.
What costs are not included in my monthly usage charges?
Your usage charges cover the Cloudera software consumed. Infrastructure, networking, and other related cloud costs are billed separately. These vary depending on the services you select and your cloud provider. Budget for these separately alongside your metered Cloudera usage.
How do the two billing dimensions combine on my invoice?
Both dimensions meter actual usage and bill monthly. Charges related to monthly pay-as-you-go usage reflect the services you run. ClouderaCredits also bill based on consumption. There is no upfront quantity commitment. Your total scales with how much compute you use rather than a fixed fee.
