Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
easyProctor bills on a contract basis across three independent proctoring modes. Each mode is priced per user, per hour of testing. Record and Review Image captures still photos during exams. Record and Review Video captures video footage for later review. Live Proctoring supports real-time monitoring and intervention by a proctor. You pick the mode that matches each exam's oversight needs. Because pricing is per user per hour, your cost scales with the number of test-takers and the length of each test session. You can combine modes for different exams as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit for billing across the proctoring modes?
One unit equals one test-taker for one hour of testing. A candidate sitting a two-hour exam counts as two units. Ten candidates in a one-hour exam count as ten units. Your bill reflects the number of test-takers multiplied by exam duration.
How does cost change if an exam runs longer or has more candidates?
Cost scales in two directions. Adding candidates raises unit count for that exam. Extending exam length raises the hours billed per candidate. Both factors multiply together. A short exam with few candidates costs less than a long exam with many candidates.
How do the three modes combine on one bill if I use different modes for different exams?
The three modes bill independently. Each uses the same per user per hour unit. You are charged only for the mode applied to each exam. Running Live Proctoring for one exam and Record and Review Image for another produces separate charges on the same invoice.
