Dimensions summary
You buy DataGuard as a contract, priced per unit. Three tiers scale by the amount of data you protect: Express covers up to 25 TB, Essentials up to 100 TB, and Enterprise up to 250 TB. All three include 24x7 support. Three added dimensions — Inspect, Investigate, and Deploy — are separate units you can pair with a tier for specific functions. Pick the tier that matches your data volume, then add the function-based units as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each tier caps the amount of data you can protect: Express covers up to 25 TB, Essentials up to 100 TB, and Enterprise up to 250 TB. You pick the tier matching your total data footprint across cloud, SaaS, and on-premise stores. To exceed a tier's cap, you move up to the next tier.
These are separate function-based units you add to a data-volume tier. They bill independently from the tier and from each other. The tier sets your protected data capacity; these units add specific capabilities. The pricing table does not detail each function, so confirm scope with the vendor before purchase.
The data-volume tier (Express, Essentials, or Enterprise) sets your base cost and scales with how much data you protect. The Inspect, Investigate, and Deploy units add to that base and bill separately. All selected units appear on the same contract. Your data footprint usually determines the tier that dominates cost.

Our external data protection officer Hanna Shin always supports us promptly with urgent projects and prioritizes the most important tasks. This is particularly helpful for dynamic developments alongside, for example, the audit reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform requires good knowledge in the field of data protection, which is not always present among some employees in supportive/supplying roles regarding the terminology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataGuard / our contact person relieves us by providing support in adapting our extensively established structures and processes in the data protection area, allowing us to be more active in shaping new projects.

Humanising a pre-audit to ensure you're fully informed about what is to come, doing the check in a friendly and helpful manner. Specifically Jeruya T our internal auditor was unbelievably helpful throughout the whole process and helped us understand where the gaps in our documentation were and how to address them, doing it in a way that was clear, helpful and not making us feel bad for not having already addressed the issues.

The platform impresses with user-friendly navigation, high availability, and good performance. The support is very good and responds reliably to inquiries. The supporting staff provide expert assistance in the targeted use of the platform and offer valuable support during its introduction and application.

Determine functions and areas, such as the Academy and the risk platform, that could be improved or expanded.
