The deployment via AWS Marketplace enables deployment of a self-managing and scalable computing service and execution environment easier than ever. You can start Techila in just minutes and the benefits of faster and better quality results are instantly available. After you have started the system, the throughput of the system can be scaled up and down on demand. Techila integrates directly with the users' favourite computational tools. Techila comes with productized support for MATLAB®, Python, C/C++, C#, R script, and a range of other popular environments. Techila eliminates performance barriers and improves productivity levels. Techila Server is the head node for the Techila environment and the gateway between the user and the Techila distributed computing environment. The Techila Server is responsible for distributing the computations to Workers and monitoring the state of the Workers. To use Techila you will need to subscribe to this AMI and to the Techila Server AMI.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for each compute node you run, with no upfront commitment. Billing follows usage, so charges start only when you launch capacity and stop when you shut it down. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, running the Techila Worker on Windows. Rates scale with the size and family of the instance you choose. Larger instances and specialized families, such as GPU-equipped, high-memory, or compute-optimized types, carry different hourly rates. This lets you match node types to your workload and scale out across many instances at once.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type running the Techila Worker on Windows. You are billed per instance-hour for every node you launch. Ten running nodes bill ten instance-hours per clock hour. Charges reflect the specific instance family and size you choose.
Software charges meter running instance-hours only. When you stop a node, hourly software charges stop with it. You can start, scale, and stop capacity on demand. Note that underlying AWS storage or other resources may still incur separate AWS fees while stopped.
Yes. You can scale out across many nodes and mix instance types to match your workload. Each running node bills at its own hourly rate, and the charges add up on the same invoice. Your total reflects the count, family, and size of nodes running.
