The deployment via AWS Marketplace enables deployment of a self-managing and scalable computing service and execution environment easier than ever. You can start Techila in just minutes and the benefits of faster and better quality results are instantly available. After you have started the system, the throughput of the system can be scaled up and down on demand. Techila integrates directly with the users' favourite computational tools. Techila comes with productized support for MATLAB®, Python, C/C++, C#, R script, and a range of other popular environments. Techila eliminates performance barriers and improves productivity levels. Techila Server is the head node for the Techila environment and the gateway between the user and the Techila distributed computing environment. The Techila Server is responsible for distributing the computations to Workers and monitoring the state of the Workers. To use Techila you will need to subscribe to this AMI and to the Techila Server AMI. If needed, to log in to the Worker node, use "admin" as username and the SSH key used when deploying the Techila Server.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on which AWS EC2 instance type runs your Techila Worker compute nodes. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size within a family, such as general-purpose (m5), memory-optimized (r5, x1e), compute-optimized (c5), high-memory (z1d), or GPU-equipped (g4dn, p3) types. Larger sizes within a family carry a higher hourly rate. You choose instances to match your workload's CPU, memory, storage, or GPU needs. Billing runs per hour of use, so cost scales with how long and how many worker nodes you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension bills per hour that one worker compute node of that instance type runs. If you start ten nodes of the same type, you pay ten times the hourly rate for each hour they run. Cost tracks both node count and runtime.
Software charges accrue only while worker nodes run. You start and stop capacity on demand from the Techila dashboard. Stopped nodes stop the hourly software meter. Underlying AWS storage or resource fees may still apply separately from this software charge.
You can scale out to thousands of CPU cores. Each running node bills at its instance type's hourly rate. Total cost equals the sum of hours across all active nodes. Mixing instance types means each type bills at its own rate simultaneously.
