This listing bills through a single usage-based dimension tied to running the software on an m4.xlarge instance, charged per hour. You pay for the hours you run the software, so cost scales with how long the instance stays active. There are no separate tiers or add-on options to configure. The edition supports up to 250 devices and gives you network toolset capabilities such as IP address management, switch port mapping, and bandwidth monitoring. Hourly billing means you can start and stop the instance to match your usage needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What resources come with the m4.xlarge hourly rate for this listing?
You pay for running the software on an m4.xlarge instance, billed per hour. This instance type provides four virtual CPUs and 16 GiB of memory. The rate covers the software licence for up to 250 devices. AWS infrastructure charges for the underlying instance are billed separately.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue only while the m4.xlarge instance runs. When you stop the instance, hourly software charges stop too. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software licence meters running hours only. You can start and stop as needed.
What network tools does the 250-device Professional Edition include?
The edition covers up to 250 devices and includes IP address management, switch port mapping, and rogue detection. You also get bandwidth monitoring, network scanning, and diagnostic tools like ping and trace route. All tools bill under the same hourly instance rate with no separate add-ons.

Great company wide IP tracking, Performance, and Great Value

Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use track IP address usage across the entire company and see any availability or unused address space. Have had no performance issues with the on server database or the backup functionality. The pricing for the unlimited IP address option was much lower than any other competitor. Not had chance to use support yet, hopefully we will not need to, but having used other products from the Manage Engine suite I know it to be fast and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs the option to customise the interface more, choose a colour scheme.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since migrating from SolarWinds, we tried a few of the free IPAM solutions, non of which suited our needs exactly. OpUtils fills that gap exactly,.
