This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and curation from SolDevelo. SonarQube is an open-source platform designed for continuous inspection of code quality to perform automatic reviews with static analysis of code to detect bugs, code smells, and security vulnerabilities.
This AMI contains a SonarQube installation on Hardened Ubuntu 22.04 system.

Usage instructions
- Launch an EC2 instance using this AMI.
- In your browser, visit: http://<your_instance_ip> Replace <your_instance_ip> with the public IP address of your EC2 instance.
- SonarQube may take a few minutes (typically 3-5) to fully start.
- Once the login page is visible, connect to your EC2 instance via SSH to retrieve the initial admin password: ssh -i /path/to/your/private-key.pem ubuntu@<your_instance_ip>
- After connecting via SSH, run the following command to get the admin password: cat /initial_admin_password.txt
- Go back to your browser and log in to SonarQube using: Username: admin Password: (the one you just retrieved)
- Follow the guided setup. Once complete, SonarQube is ready to use.
