This AMI contains a Jenkins installation on Hardened Ubuntu 22.04 (ARM) system.
The Ubuntu system on which Jenkins is installed, is tailored to meet the stringent security requirements outlined by the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks. This AMI is designed to provide a secure foundation for your cloud environments, ensuring that your systems are protected against common vulnerabilities and attacks.
Jenkins can act as a standalone server or cluster of nodes that allow supporting all kinds of projects, from small and simple, to large and complex. Jenkins is agnostic of the application stack, and can support all kinds of build (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
Jenkins can be easily set up and managed through its web interface.
Through the use of plugins, the functionality of Jenkins can be extended to support all kinds of specific build or deployment use cases, making the process of setting up the DevOps environment for projects even easier.
Exceptions to the CIS Benchmark: "Ensure root password is set" - the root password should be set by the end user
