Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This contract offers two pricing dimensions. The Data Access Governance Starter pack is your base purchase. It gives you the fully managed data access governance service across your cloud data. Additional Units let you expand that base coverage as your needs grow. You buy them on top of the Starter pack. Both dimensions bill through a contract term rather than usage or hourly rates. The structure works as a starter package plus scalable add-on units. You size your commitment by adding units to match your data estate.

The Starter pack gives you a fully managed service with nothing to install. You get data access control across cloud services through one unified interface. You can centrally define fine-grained access policies, run sensitive data discovery, apply masking and encryption, and produce audit reports and dashboards for compliance.
Both dimensions bill on the same contract. The Starter pack is your required base purchase. Additional Units add capacity on top of that base as your data estate grows. The two charges add together on one contract rather than replacing each other. You size total coverage by adding units.
Additional Units expand the coverage of the same managed service; they do not unlock different features. The Starter pack and Additional Units run the same platform for access control, discovery, masking, and reporting. You add units to match a broader data estate, not to access new functions.
