IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration is an enterprise iPaaS that helps operationalize AI by connecting apps, APIs, AI agents/LLMs, events, data, managed file transfer (MFT), and B2B/EDI across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Forrester TEI study reports 176% ROI (3 years), 40% less downtime, and 33% faster delivery for complex integration projects.

Native AWS Integration and Hybrid Architecture: Deep AWS integration with Amazon S3 for data patterns/object storage, Amazon MSK for event-driven integration via Event Endpoint Management, and AWS PrivateLink for private connectivity without internet exposure. A Hybrid Control Plane centralizes governance, policy enforcement, and end-to-end observability across AWS and on-prem, supporting security, compliance, and operational control for AI-driven workflows at scale. Federated API Management governs APIs across IBM API Gateway and AWS API Gateway.

AI Operationalization and Agent Orchestration: Secure agent orchestration via Federated API Management and AI/MCP (Model Context Protocol) Gateways lets agents access on-prem systems, AWS services, and hybrid data sources without data migration. Integrates with Amazon Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, and IBM watsonx. AI-assisted low-code/no-code tooling enables citizen integrators, business users, and ops teams to build secure integrations at scale with centralized governance. Industry Recognition and Enterprise Validation: IBM is a Leader in the Forrester Wave™ for iPaaS (Q3 2025) and a Leader in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for API Management. FedRAMP authorized, ISO 27001 certified; supports GDPR and CCPA requirements for regulated industries including financial services, healthcare, and government.

Unified Control for Integrations in Hybrid and Multicloud Environments

    Reviewed on Dec 18, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is that it gives you a unique control panel to govern and observe integrations (APIs, apps, events, B2B, and files) in hybrid and multicloud environments, instead of managing everything separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes what I like least is that, because it is such a comprehensive platform, the initial adoption curve can be a bit steeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resolve the disorder of having integrations and APIs spread across various tools without clear visibility, and unify it into centralized management and monitoring.
