The user metric maps to Connected Users. A Connected User is a member with one or more devices registered on the service, or who sent data via the Mobile SDK in the past 30 days, regardless of device count. Each such member counts once.
Cost is based on the level of service purchased, such as permitted Connected Users and included deployments, not actual usage. One user can register multiple devices, and a single normalization layer covers 700+ device integrations. Adding devices for existing users does not change the user count.
The base fee covers the Software Service. Supplementary features are Add-On Services you order separately. These include device logistics like warehousing, kitting, and shipping; service desk call center support; and implementation support with a specialist. Any fees for these appear in a separate order form.
