Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This listing bundles high-speed file transfer as annual contracts built around storage capacity tiers. You pick a base plan: Essentials (1TB), Standard Plus (6TB), or Premium (30TB). Two older tiers, Advanced (6TB) and Enterprise (60TB), remain but are deprecated for new buyers. Each base plan includes set storage and egress amounts. When you exceed those limits, you add matching usage units: Additional Storage and Additional Egress for your chosen plan. Premium also offers a Transmitted Overage GB unit for transfer volume above the included allowance. Pricing scales as you move up tiers and add usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Storage measures the data you hold in the service each month. Egress measures data transferred out of cloud storage. Each base plan bundles both. If you hold more data than included, you add Storage units. If you transfer out more than included, you add Egress units. Both bill separately on the same contract.
Premium includes a set egress allowance in its 30TB base plan. When transfer volume passes that included amount, you add the Premium Transmitted Overage GB unit, billed per gigabyte. This charges only the volume above your allowance. It applies on top of your base plan, not as a plan upgrade.
Advanced (6TB) and Enterprise (60TB), plus their matching Additional Egress and Additional Storage units, are marked deprecated in the pricing table. Deprecated tiers stay listed mainly for existing subscribers. New buyers should choose an active plan: Essentials (1TB), Standard Plus (6TB), or Premium (30TB). Contact the vendor to confirm availability for your account.

What do you like best about the product?
Most folks notice something right away about IBM Aspera on Cloud - big files move without falling apart when hopping between clouds. Sticking everything into one flow means you do not bounce around apps just to upload, share, or follow progress. When teams work from different locations, particularly with big bundles like archived records, saved copies, or video clips, the connection holds up much better compared to dragging files through a web browser.
Most days, large file moves handle better than expected. When things finally line up, shared links, tidy workspaces, and progress checks make routines run smoother. Less drop during long sends means less repeat effort. Efficiency grows without extra steps.

What do you like best about the product?
The transfer speed is very fast, even when I’m moving large, heavy files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be more user-friendly to provide a better overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest challenges companies face is transferring large datasets and heavy files from one place to another, whether it’s between locations or from the cloud. For high-speed data transfer, I don’t see a better alternative than this.

What do you like best about the product?
I like IBM Aspera on Cloud's user interface, which helps me to collaborate with people easily. I especially like the speed of the deployment. It also allows me to host my own AI automations to run tasks on a cron job, which means I don't have to do it manually. Overall, I think it's perfect for my use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it was quite overwhelming as I knew nothing about it, but slowly got my hands working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use IBM Aspera on Cloud to host AI automations on a cron job, eliminating the need for manual actions and enabling easy collaboration with a user-friendly interface.
