    ADSelfService Plus enhances security with adaptive MFA, offering 20 different authenticators to protect identities and endpoints. Its SSO feature allows users to access all enterprise applications through a unified, secure authentication process. The platform streamlines password management by enabling self-service password resets and account unlocks, enforcing strong password policies, and sending password expiration notifications. Users can also update profiles and manage group subscriptions, with approval workflows ensuring accountability. Remote work is supported with features like cached credential updates, secure logins, and mobile password management. Integrations with SIEM, ITSM, and IAM tools help create a secure and efficient IT environment.     ADSelfService Plus service is installed in this instance. Once the instance is up and running, take remote connection to your instance. You can now access the ADSelfService Plus application by accessing the URL : http://<public-dns>:8888/ from Internet Explorer or other supported browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The default user name to login is "admin" and password is <your_instance_id>. During startup, ADSelfService Plus adds all the domains that it could discover in your network. If you wish to add more domains or modify the added domains, you can do it using the Domain Settings link on the top right corner of the ADSelfService Plus web console.     Easy ADSSP Deployment with Flexible MFA Options

    What do you like best about the product?
    Our primary reason for deploying ADSSP was to add MFA to our privileged and IT administration accounts. The wide array of MFA authenticators made deploying multiple MFA's possible. Installation was easy and maintaining the system has been a breeze.

    We will likely roll out the self-service portal for users to unlock their accounts and change passwords. We also plan to deploy MFA for Outlook Web Access (OWA).
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Frequent patch updates requiring several, manual steps. Ideally this would be done with an internal or automated update.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    We were required to have an MFA solution for administrator accounts. ADSSP has been a breeze in meeting that requirement.

    What do you like best about the product?
    ADSelfService Plus allows end users to change their own password without having to be onsite or having to put in a help desk ticket. I have never had an issue with the software failing or the service stopping.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The GUI is difficult to navigate if you don't know where to go. I wish the end user management was a bit more user friendly.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    ADSSP allows for offsite end users to change their own passwords which reduces time spent on the phone/chat.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Because our users cannot change their AD Password if they are off-campus we needed a solution that would help to accomplish just that. AD SelfService Plus lets our users reset their password very quickly and easliy by just connecting via a browser, regardless of where they are.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    There are some users who get tripped up by our password complexity rules. That's not necessarily an issue with ADSelfService Plus, but the feedback with why a password reset failure occurred could possibly be improved, provided that the error from Active Directory provides sufficient detail.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Because many of our users are off campus for the summer, and password resets occur regardless of whether they are here or not, ADSelfService Plus eliminates the need for our users to come to campus when their password is expiring.

    What do you like best about the product?
    ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus offers a secure, reliable, and effective solution for recovering credentials from Windows systems. It features a versatile and intuitive module that is easy to use and implement, allowing for quick deployment across the organization. This reduces the number of support requests to the IT Help Desk and helps improve service for all employees.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Occasionally, ADSelfService MSI installers are affected by Windows security or operating system updates. When this happens, it may be necessary to reinstall them to prevent users from losing access to the recovery app on the Windows Domain Credential Prompt.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    ADSelfService has helped decrease the high volume of calls and service requests received by the Help Desk team, which in turn has improved customer service and key performance indicators. As a result, the business is better supported and operational efficiency is enhanced.

    What is our primary use case?

    We use the solution to reset passwords automatically. It is useful for companies that have many employees.

    What is most valuable?

    The solution enables agents to reset their passwords.

    What needs improvement?

    The price must be reduced. The cost must depend on the number of nodes.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been using the solution for five years.

    How was the initial setup?

    It is not difficult to deploy the product. The deployment took a month. We are a large enterprise.

    What other advice do I have?

    We can get a certification on the solution. We never had to contact support. It is a simple application. We also use a tool to decrease the number of incidents. I will recommend the tool to others. Overall, I rate the product a nine out of ten.
