This SaaS product provisions software appliances/AMIs that analyze the content of your Internet traffic. You can then view security alerts in real time, receive email alerts, perform detailed forensic analysis, manage detailed custom reports, and enforce malware prevention policies.
Our award-winning malware detection and prevention software is deployed in your VPCs to analyze the behavior and the content of your Internet traffic. It reliably finds and stops malware from threatening your network. False positives are virtually eliminated by correlating multiple independent flows. False negatives are lowered by combining feeds from Emerging Threats, Cuckoo, VirusTotal, SRI, OSSEC, Trustwave, YARA, ClamAV and Web of Trust. The results are sent to the MetaFlows cloud where they become available for secure browsing. Using global intelligence, the events are further correlated and prioritized to generate automated email alerts and interactive, web-based reports. With a standard web browser, users can collaborate on line to investigate suspicious behavior and use our powerful, policy-based event classification system to enforce user-defined malware prevention policies. Our SaaS service provides: Multiple Intelligence feeds coorelation, Advanced multi-session correlation, Passive Host/Service Discovery, Real-Time Flow Analysis, Historical Event Analysis, Network Antivirus/Sandboxing, File Carving, Custom Reporting, Syslog/CEF Import/Export, Vulnerability Scanning. All these features start working right out of the box with minimal configuration required.
Highlights
Constantly adapt to changing threats and new opportunities to defend your network with an SaaS security model. When you subscribe to MetaFlows, you are investing in your own future.
MetaFlows uses five different intelligence feeds at once. Why rely on one vendor feed when you can use five? No single security team has all the answers. As MetaFlows uses five feeds at once, it consistently finds threats that other vendors miss.
We look for symptoms of an infection rather than defending the perimeter. If you only block things from getting in, it is only a matter of time before you will be hacked. It is vital to watch the behavior of your hosts with multi-session correlation.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy this network intrusion detection and prevention software through annual contracts. Two host-based tiers scale by the number of AWS instances you monitor. Silver Annual covers up to 50 AWS instances. Silver+ Annual covers up to 150 AWS instances. Pick the tier that matches your instance count. A third option, Managed Service L1, adds vendor management of the security service rather than expanding instance coverage. So the first two dimensions scale by monitored capacity, while the managed service dimension adds hands-on operational support on top of the monitoring you deploy.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one AWS instance for the Silver and Silver+ host limits?
Each monitored AWS instance counts as one host against your tier limit. Silver Annual covers up to 50 instances, and Silver+ Annual covers up to 150. The count reflects the instances the software monitors, not the number of underlying physical hosts they run on.
What does the Managed Service L1 dimension add beyond the host-based tiers?
Managed Service L1 provides vendor operation of the security service itself. Instead of expanding how many instances you monitor, it adds hands-on management support. You pair it with your monitoring deployment to have the vendor handle operational tasks.
What deployment components are included when I monitor my AWS instances?
The system uses sensors and a controller. Sensors run deep packet inspection on your instances. The controller centralizes management, stores exported metadata, and generates alerts and reports. A single controller can manage many sensors, so coverage scales with the instance count in your chosen tier.
