EOSDA Crop Monitoring - digital satellite-based one-stop precision agriculture platform for field monitoring. Advanced Soil Moisture Mapping at both surface and root zone levels allows for more precise crop yield estimations and reveals important climate trends over time.
EOSDA Crop Monitoring is an online satellite-based precision agriculture platform for field monitoring created by EOS Data Analytics (EOSDA), a global provider of AI-powered satellite imagery analytics. The platform is a one-stop solution that integrates multiple types of data (crop health, weather conditions, crop rotation, field activities, elevation, soil moisture, and a host of other types) all in one place.
Soil moisture analytics is integrated as one of the features on EOSDA Crop Monitoring platform and is widely used by farmers and agronomists, enabling them to forecast investment in artificial irrigation as certain regions have more than one agricultural growing season.
Insurance agents can trace and compare historical and current soil moisture values to make better-informed decisions as to insurance payments.
Data required from client:
AOI on a country level.
EOSDA solution model and algorithm:
The technology is based on the restoration of moisture content from radiometric data (SMAP or AMSR), taking into account soil type and surface temperature.
SMAP / AMSR satellite data with revisit rate of 1-3 days.
Surface soil moisture (5 cm) and root zone (up to 70 cm deep).
Historical data from 2002.
250 m / 250 m (possible 100 m on request).
Soil data (clay / clay, density, sand).
Can be added to EOSDA products on a field level EOSDA Crop Monitoring Platform / API.

This listing offers a single contract dimension: the 2in1 Package covering 3,000 hectares in EOSDA Crop Monitoring + Soil Moisture for Country. You commit to a fixed area under one bundled package that combines crop monitoring and soil moisture analysis. Pricing is set by the hectare allowance, not by individual features or usage. All capabilities fall under this one commitment, so there are no separate tiers or add-ons to compare. To cover more land, you would need additional units of the same package.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the 3,000 hectare allowance in this package cover?
The allowance is the total farmland area you can monitor under one package. You add fields by uploading plot boundaries or drawing them, then track crop health and soil moisture across those fields. The 3,000 hectares represents your combined field area, not the number of fields or team members.
What happens if my farmland exceeds the 3,000 hectare allowance?
The package covers a fixed 3,000 hectare area. To monitor more land, you buy additional units of the same package. The allowance does not scale automatically, so you commit to added capacity when your farmed area grows past the covered amount.
What is bundled into the 2in1 Package beyond the hectare allowance?
The single package combines crop monitoring and soil moisture analysis. Within that hectare allowance you get satellite vegetation imagery, growth stage tracking, weather forecasts, risk alerts, variable rate application maps, and surface soil moisture mapping. All these capabilities fall under the one commitment, with no separate feature charges.
