Overview
G2IT's Enterprise Service Management Assessment & Design Sprint is a productized two-week professional services engagement designed for federal and commercial organizations implementing, optimizing, consolidating, or migrating service management environments.
The assessment evaluates people, process, platform, data, CMDB/service models, integrations, infrastructure, security, governance, operating model, reporting, and lifecycle considerations. Customers gain a clear understanding of what the future environment must do, how it should be designed, what dependencies must be resolved, and how implementation should proceed.
G2IT assesses ServiceNow, BMC, Jira, AWS-integrated service management ecosystems, and ancillary technologies without assuming a predetermined product outcome. Where ServiceNow is the selected target platform, G2IT maps validated requirements to native platform capabilities before recommending configuration, integration, extension, or customization. For customers transitioning from BMC Helix, Jira-based service workflows, legacy ServiceNow environments, or other platforms, G2IT additionally evaluates coexistence, migration, data, integration, cutover, validation, and legacy-retirement requirements.
The engagement follows four imperatives: Assess, Align, Architect, Accelerate. Week 1 focuses on Current State, Process Fit, and Technical Dependencies. Week 2 delivers Target State, Architecture, Roadmap, and Governance, culminating in a Validation and Executive Readout.
SKU options scale to match complexity: Small (focused assessment of one primary platform or business area), Medium (enterprise assessment spanning multiple processes, integrations, and CMDB/data dependencies), and Large (complex multi-platform, multi-domain, or multi-boundary environments with security constraints and migration/coexistence requirements).
Delivery models include Remote, Hybrid, On-Prem, and High-Impact On-Prem supporting IL4/IL5/IL6/IL7 environments.
Standard deliverables include Current-State Assessment, Requirements and Decision Register, Platform Fit/Gap and Exception Analysis, Target-State Architecture and Design, Migration/Coexistence Strategy, Implementation Roadmap, Implementation Readiness and Risk Register, and Executive Readout and Decision Package.
